Anglet is a town on the Basque coast renowned for its 11 surf spots on the Atlantic Ocean. It is known as “Little California”, with its 4.5 km of fine sand.

Behind it stretches a pine forest around the Pignada forest zoological reserve, a favourite with families. The town has a number of sports facilities, including tennis courts, swimming pools and a golf course.
The brasseries and cocktail bars with oceanfront terraces are very popular at sunset.
