Anglet is a town on the Basque coast renowned for its 11 surf spots on the Atlantic Ocean. It is known as “Little California”, with its 4.5 km of fine sand.

The Dunes beach is bordered by the Chiberta golf course.

Cavaliers beach hosts professional surfing competitions. The quieter La Barre beach will delight your children. The oceanfront promenade features hotels and surf schools.

Behind it stretches a pine forest around the Pignada forest zoological reserve, a favourite with families. The town has a number of sports facilities, including tennis courts, swimming pools and a golf course.

The brasseries and cocktail bars with oceanfront terraces are very popular at sunset.
