The town of Saint Jean de Luz is around 20 minutes from Biarritz, and has retained its typical Basque style. A magnificent waterside town, protected by a bay that shelters its neighbours Ciboure and Socoa. The bay that protects it is ideal for stand-up paddling, wakeboarding, canoeing and kayaking, as well as kite surfing, windsurfing and, more recently, the new sport of wing surfing (wingfoil).

You can discover local craftsmen and beautiful boutiques in the pedestrianised Rue Gambetta. You can also walk to Place Louis XIV and Les Halles de Saint Jean de Luz.
